I added Theo Wirth to the trail conditions page. Please, if you ride there - update trail conditions for others as often as you want... the more the better.

I also added a Theo Wirth trail pictures area in our gallery. (we already have a Theo Wirth trail work section)

Also added a Theo Wirth trail review page, although none is available yet. If anyone from MOCA wants to review the trail I'll post it. Would like some stats like the other trails have etc.

We will, of course, keep MOCA links all over this trail review page...

Just rode the trails today. It's nice....really nice. I like the new sections added by MORC. A lot of the trails are narrow and branches slap you in the face....but as workers get out there, they make the trails much better.....good job guys.

There is some good technical singletrack in there too.......when the Farm goes, this place will be a close alternative......:).

I just gone done riding. Things are in pretty good condition. I updated the trail condition page. John, thanks for adding it. Shad I would have to agree with you that Theo does feel like the Farm. Should be interesting to see what it is going to end up like. I am sure looking forward to it being a loop. I never seem to have a clue where I am going (just keep riding till I get bored).

Thanks for doing that John!

Wirth is a lot closer to Robbinsdale than the River Bottoms. I'll have to check it out and see who I can "educate, assist and inform."

How are the ticks?

Ride safe,

I have alot more fun at Theo though, none of those lung busting climbs. I've only ridden The Farm twice, but both times I got so blown by the early climbs that I had trouble enjoying the rest of the trail. Its the price of being a fat guy I guess.

MOCA is getting some temporary trail markers printed up. Once that is done we will get a route marked out which will definitely be cool. I have a pretty good route I follow, but I still take wrong turns and end up someplace I didn't expect. There was also some trail in the center of the park that I hadn't known about until recently, it goes by this little spring fed pond which is pretty cool.

How are the ticks?

The ticks aren't too bad, I've picked up a couple.

The mosquitos however are finally out and they are vicious, plenty of wet areas and deep dark wooks for them to hide in.

I had a lot of fun trying to manuever the tight turns on the north side of the park last time I was there (and avoid getting slapped by overhanging branches). There is also some single track by Golden Valley Road across from the Church. Not sure if that is "legal" or not.

Part of the fun at Wirth is riding for awhile then trying to figure out how to get out. I guess it is pretty easy once you find the big road, you can just follow that out.

How are the ticks?
They taste pretty good after a few days when they've gotten nice and plump.
