"We would like to reward the lady who helped punch this legislation through the red tape that is Minneapolis P&R. We are asking for $5 or more donations from anyone who feels that this is an important project. The money will defray the cost of the gift.

It can be given to me at a trail session, John at Kenwood Cyclery, Gene or Jennifer Oberpriller at One on One Bike Studio, or hopefully any MORC officer. Earmark the gift as the Aussie Fund."

Is that person a city of Minneapolis employee or a member of any citizen's advisory board? If so, I think there is a problem with any gift for services rendered in regards to work done in conducting city or park board business.

I believe she is leaving and giving up the position, thus the gift is not a bribe but again I don't know.
