Any ideas on when BC trail work will start for the season?
Not sure when it'll start up. Steve Garnjobst will probably post something at some point.
I was out riding last night and cleared a couple of branches that had fallen in the trail that parallels lower afton rd just before the pine tunnel climb. Also cut a low hanging branch in the "Forest of the Goddess" trail (formerly "Jesus Saves").
Some other stuff I noticed last night and trailwork ideas-
A little kicker jump has been built shooting off-trail to the right just before the new rock garden section. I'm sure it's illegit.
Route a better approach to the rock drop coming out of the rock garden.
North side of Battle Creek downhill to parking lot- Map out and implement a decent singletrack descent coming from the switchbacks avoiding the horribly sketchy, off-camber gravel access road.
Steve, what do you think? Anything planned?

I rode the BC trail today and the illegit kicker. i thought maybe it had been opened up but?? I think the hairpin on the north side needs a little work. This is the third time this season i've riddne the trail and i'am really impressed by the rock garden holding over the winter. i guess i didn't think the rocks would stay over winter. they look great....good job. i will help with trail work. Mondays are great for me, but hey i will try to make any night.

Steve mentioned to me that there might be some Saturday trail sessions at BC, but probably not weekday sessions...
