I rode hillside last week and it's was great! Anyhow I pulled out our bucket of change to pay and noticed there were no envelopes to pay the park fees. Any idea when the envelopes will get put out? I saved my payment till next time seeing how they probably wouldn't enjoy me dumping $3 in change in the bottom of the tube? Or should I just dump the money? Thanks

Is the daily fee $3 or $4?

That is probably the right thing to do. I think I am going to buy a yearly pass though. If I remember right if you help with trail maintenance you get a free pass. I will have to e-mail Blast to find out for sure though.

I will have to e-mail Blast to find out for sure though. I talked to a guy who is involved with Blast and he said the same thing. But it's only 25 bucks. I bought mine last Tuesday. The trail does rock. :crazy2:

Can you call them and have them send the pass or do you have to go to the city office to get it?
I really like hillside too. Its nice to have a trail close to home.

I really like hillside too. Its nice to have a trail close to home. The Parkand Rec office isn't that far away. It is just up 169 to School Street, turn left and then go through two stop lights to Lions park Drive which is in b/t the white and brick appartments and the church, on the left side of the road. The road is basically a driveway for the office. Total trip time from Hillside including buying the pass, 15 minutes.

This is true, I helped out at the trail work last Sunday and we recieved free passes, water bottle, and some jerky/trail mix afterwards.
