Does anyone know when the park opens and when the trails become rideable? Considering that it's on a bluff I imagine that it's pretty dry by now.

I'm not sure about redwing, but down in winona we are about a week away from riding. Holzinger is also a bluffside trail. This may give you an idea the conditions.

I walked some of the trail yesterday (Sothern cross meadow area to the driving range) and they were in pretty good shape. the ground was firm and looked ready for riding.

I'm happy to say that the trails are all rideable on Memorial Bluff here in Red Wing! In fact, they are dusty! No mud anywhere, all the downed trees have been removed, and the trails are just waiting for contact with tires. By the way, check out www.muddyriverrocknroll.com (http://www.muddyriverrocknroll.com) for trail work schedules and contact information for the local trails!

Sweet! Thanks for posting. I need to get back down there soon and ride it. Memorial is a great trail system and pretty short day trip.

Is some of the new stuff open that was being worked on last year?

Everything that we were working on last year is indeed open. The trail down into the quarry is especially fun! We have some new plans in the works for that area as well that will add some distance as well as some new goodies that we haven't ever included in our trails here. Expect some technical stuff modeled after Lebanon Hills (we've been inspired!)
