As others have noted the entire river trail is in fine shape for riding. However the raft is not in and the water is high enough that you won't be tippy-toeing over Nine Mile Creek - a good workaround from the west is to ride up the big hill about 1/2 mile west of the creek, go right then continue on France, take a right onto 110th East, left on Penn, right on 106th, then right on Lyndale and you are back on the trail (NOTE: biking in Moir Park is prohibited).

There are few new re-routes due to downed trees but that is what makes it the river trail.

Watch this space next week as we schedule the raft put in and will need your help.

Thank you for being responsible and not riding the trail when it was soft.

Wow, sure felt great to get out for my first ride in nearly 5 months! Boy, the trail is perfect, if not a little dry today! All I have to say is that I was out of shape! Matt and Mark, sorry I held you up today! It was relaxing and beautiful! Lots of others out there, it's time to ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello all,

I am very excited to head out to the river bottoms for my first off road ride of the year. I especially can't wait for Lebanon. Anyways- I took a picture this last fall of me riding at the river bottoms and submittied to Foes Fabrication. They have chosen me as the rider of the week and posted my pic on their homepage. Check it out at Foesracing.com. I am the guy in green. I was quite excited about making their website, so I thought I would share it with you all. Enjoy the trails. :D

Beautiful day on the trail today. I could have done without the neverending road ride to get over to the east side, but it's all good.

Just rode the west side up to the bridge (which is missing) and back. Chris and I had a blast and it was all dry. Some low tree branchs to duck under, but besides that, I didn't see anything wrong with the trail......except the usual sand pits...:).

That was my BCR Jerseys maiden voyage. Nice and colorful so people can see me comin'.

I rode the west end yesterday and noted no missing bridge. Perhaps he meant the raft?

I rode the river bottoms for the first time in about four years. All I have to say is WOW! This trail rocks now. My skills as a rider have improved but so has the state of this trail. I really felt like the course had been hand-built and properly maintained. A roller-coaster with just the right amount of challenge. Congratulations on a job well done.

Now, I just have to find the right time of the weekday to ride it to avoid the crowds. ;)

I agree...I've done both sections (East & West) and noticed no missing bridge
