Yeah this is not gonna be accurate but hey why not.
Im sure John L has a way to tell. But im just curious as to how many website members are actuall MORC members as well.
And this is by no means saying that you HAVE to be a member to use the site, it does provide a great deal of information and i know some folks that really would not benifit from MORC but do benifit from the site, just an informal poll is all :)

And if you are not a MORC member you should be ashamed of yourself... isn't all the info we provide on the web site worth a membership alone? :D

How about a third answer catagory?
"The website is okay. I'm a MORC member. The webmaster is two sandwiches shy of a picnic." :crazy2:
Keep up the good work John! (You'll find those sandwiches some day!)

Welcome....You won't be sorry...if you have a chance you should also try to attend a trail work session-it really gives you an entirely new view on the trails

I just became one though. So about 1000 or so of my posts are non-member posts.....:).
Hey, I got my socks (thanks Liz). I like them, but my wife thinks the look really funny......
Shows you who has the taste in the family......huh.

I have been a site member for almost a year, and am glad that I am now MORC member!! All this biking is going to hurt my handicap....

I finally had to make a choice and golf lost :)
Although when I squeeze my 1 or 2 rounds in a year I seem to play better. I think too much practice can ruin your golf game.

When I answered the poll the answer was "no." Since that time the answer has changed to "yes."
Everyone else who answered no. Send in the $20 and join. I am excited to be a new member and to help support a cause, group and sport that I enjoy so much. Let's skew the results of this poll by having all of those who replied "no" send in their green and become members.

I voted "yes" but at the time I think I was a big, fat fibber 'cause my MORC membership might have run out from last year!
However, a couple days ago I remedied that by signing up for the family rate membership of $30!
Now I want my socks, dammit.

John, your sparkling commentary and relentless shutterbugging are worth the price of admission all by themselves.

How long does it take to get membership info I joined last wed, and received a conf. email from paypal, but nothing from morc and nothings arrived in the mail yet either...Jeff Gude processes the memberships and sends out cards. He has been backed up this spring due to work, so we're really trying to catch up and stay on top of these.
I can get you your socks right away to get things kick started. Just PM me with address and size of socks and they will be on the way.
We do apologize for any delay in memberships. It is one of our goals to optimize the process, but when any one of the volunteers gets busy things start to get backed up. We promise this isn't always the case, and also promise to further optimize the process this year.
Normally one should expect memberships to be processed every one or two weeks, so a very maximum of 2 weeks and a couple of days.. but I hope to even speed that up as well. I'd like to have them processed weekly with no exceptions.
Thanks!!
