or the Tour de Sueur. what ever you call it, it'll be good. Saturday 4-3. Tomorrow. I know its short notice, but we've been talking about it on the trail conditions thread, and thats just not the right place. To find directions, type in 119 South 4th Street Le Sueur into mapquest and you'll see where I live. Sounds like 10ish is the time to meet. The loop is roughly 30 miles or so, with a few big climbs. Mark wants to do SS, but if you don't have one, its ok, bring the gears. All are welcome. If you're coming, leave a message here, or call me Sat. Morn at 507-665-4086. Ask for Marty. It'll be good! Supposed to be pretty nice, but chilly, so bring the long sleeves.

The better half has her own thing going on Saturday, so I think I'm in.

I could put the racks on the Minivan and haul up to 3 people w/ bikes if anyone is interested.

Have a good ride you guys. It'd be good to get down there tomorrow but I'm committed to finishing up some house projects. :cryin:

Ok,

I'm in.

Gearing, 34/17 26" work well Marty? I can go up or down from there.

Pat. I might take you up on the ride down. Let me know where you want to meet up if you still have room.

All, I will bring along some Barley Bug Waste to quench our thirst after the ride. Coffee Cream Stout, Licorice Stout, Pumpkin Ale, maybe a couple of others.

I am guessing you have a few Pints to pour into Marty?

See you all tomorrow.

Where's the house gonna go? Huh? It's not gonna get up and walk away now is it? And it doesn' thave wheels, so you're good there, it can't roll away. And Sunday isn't supposed to get out of the 40's. C'mon man! you must learn that spring weekends are for suffering on your bike! NOT in the house!

Yah, I've got some good 'sonsin beers(mmm, New Glarus!) I can share. Not many left though. 2:1 should be fine. I don't think it's going to be soft at all. I'm going to suffer on the fixy at 39-18.

MMMMM New Glarus!!!

If you want, I can run across the river after work and pick you up some more if you want.

If you'll be suffering at 39/18 I won't put go to 36/17 then. might spin out a couple of times but that is better than having to grunt or walk up a hill.

Let me know about the Glarus and I'll see you tomorrow.

James

Yes, yes, I know and I'm learning quickly that I should have worked a little faster while the snow was on the ground. Oh well, get it done now to ensure free time in a few weeks. Give my best to Lisa, and keep her away from that stuff that James is bringing down, ya don't want to get the little one hooked too soon. ;)

Couldn't hurt, that's for sure. If you're close enough to WI, go for it, but if its out of your way James, there's no real need. I prefer Spotted Cow and UffDa, though the Fat Squirrel is pretty good too.

No Problem Marty,

It's a 8-10 minute drive. And I need to go pick up a few for myself anyways.

Also,

No Meat, is that red or any? I was thinking of bringing a Cold Pasta Salad with some smoked Salmon in it for lunch after the ride. I tend to make stuff in really big batches so I can bring enough for all. (depending)

Marty, et.al.

I guess it would probably be unacceptable for me to cheese out at this point, no? Wish it was going to be about 10 degrees warmer tomorrow, and I did not have to study this weekend.

I'll be sissy-ing along at 34x18.

Fish is fine. There's too much good stuff in there to not eat it. I'll have some brats(veggie ones) that I'll be grillin' up.

A selection of my pics of the ride in Green Giant Country are up in my gallery,

http://www.morcmtb.org/photopost/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=6

Check them out and tell me what you think. Our Great Guide, Martini, should be posting some soon also.

Keep yours eyes out as we might be trying to recruit for something at the location these pics were taken. More info to come.

Great ride today guys, though the four legged, 1500#, rototillers made it a little rough.

Yeah, great ride. Too bad 'bout dem horse types though. Weather was great in the valley there out of the wind. I'm glad we didn't suffer on the roads. Single track is ALWAYS better. I'll be putting pictures up tonight sometime. I hafta go out for another ride. Gorgous day again folks!

Never mind. Here they are now!
