John

From my experience, best times are March - early may, then after mid-September. Stay away from Moab during the Summer months! Winter is rideable but you take your chances with snow coverage.

Cheers!

RIGHT NOW!!!!

I used to live 3.5hrs north of Moab and spent a lot of March/April weekends there. Around mid May, it starts to get really hot. Now, 3.5hrs gets me to somewhere in the middle of Iowa.

If you have to go to Utah in the months of May through August - Go ride some Park City single track. You'll ride all week and never ride the same trial twice!

3.5 hours gets you to Chequamegon area! I have to admit the 4 corners sure have a lot of great stuff nearby, I won't even try to compare Chequamegon to Utah! I love Utah!

speaking as a guy who's been riding Sedona for a week... I think I'd like to wait for it to warm up a -bit- if you look at average temps for March. 70's is nice but 50's and 60's would be too cold for me. It gets damn cold down here at night..... like 40's I think....

Crash and I rode Moab and Fruita last year in Sept. and the weather was awesome. It got cool at night and in the morning, but during the day it was sweet, like 70's and 80's. Very Nice.

Shutup, you! I just finished putting up a fence outside, I think the high today was less than 40.
