Klein Sponsors Racing Couple
Klein and Maverick American team up in a unique sponsorship of boyfriend/girlfriend racers Ariel Lindsley and Abigail Hippely. This happy couple will travel the country racing and promoting Klein, the Monolink design, and Maverick American suspension forks.
Arial and Abi plan to compete in events ranging from 24 Hour events to NORBA NCS races. Traveling together to all of the races, Ariel and Abi look to experience the diversity of the nation’s cycling events better then racers on the average pro team.
Promoting the Palomino featuring Paul Turner’s latest Maverick fork, the couple will travel with consumer demo bikes at all events that they attend. As Maverick veterans, Arial and Abi know the Monolink design very well and plan to offer as much advice to people who want to take them up on test rides at the team truck.
Bikes aren’t the only thing that they are offering test rides on though. The duo is also sponsored by Dale’s Pale Ale, the only micro-brew in a can. “Ariel and Abi are the perfect grassroots style racers. They can totally relate to Klein customers,” says Klein’s Connie Ryland. “We didn’t want to buy our way into a full trade team; instead we wanted to do something different. We really like the idea of supporting these two and getting in touch with our customers at the events.”
