Mountain Bike Action ran an article about these trails in the January Issue. The park the trails are located in is called Challenge Park, in Joliet. The main cohorts responsible for these trails are Group out of Joliet called Team Sally . If I head back that way in the Spring I am definitely gonna try to hit up that place......hopefully by then I have a FS.
Two of my friends and myself went down there over spring break (early March) this year. The park has a lot of long and wide bridges, wide because in several spots there are gaps that you have to jump while on the bridge. The whole bridge system is pretty impressive as it must be over 100 meters long, with many junctions so you can take different lines down. From a technical standpoint, it is not especially challenging compared to the stuff here in Houghton and in Marquette, though there are a few decent sized drops and the aforementioned gaps in the bridge.
You can check out team sally's page here (http://www.teamsally.com). Challenge Park also has a website that you can take a look at.

that stuff is wicked! heh. :)
tis ironic to me that i moved from the chicago area to the TC, and then get into mtb.
hahaha, I am great friends with the Sallies, great group of guys, if you look in my photo gallery you'll see a bunch of pics from there. Super fun place to ride!!! I've been there a couple times, now the crew and I meet the sallies a couple times a year for riding and racing, they'll be coming in force to the White Knuckle races! If you get the chance defintily a great place to check out!
